Data, strategy & evidence generation in ALS therapy
We have access to a community of over 8.000 patients with ALS who share their disease data. Each patient has his or her own motivation for participation, but they are all empowered by the knowledge that their data will help in finding a cure. With our data, we support academia and industry in conducting high-quality research in ALS.

Neurofilament “NfL“ biomarker and prognostic factor in ALS
Neurofilament “NfL“ concentration is an expression of the disease process and a prognostic factor for ALS progression. However, interpretation of serum NfL concentration is only meaningful and informative in the context of other prognostic factors of ALS.
Our NfL analysis helps to provide a better prognostic estimate for the individual course of ALS.
Technology
APST research has a partnership with the APST digital management platform www.ambulanzpartner.de and the ALS app. The APST platform has digitized data of over 8.000 ALS patients in Germany. The ALS app is a mobile application for self-assessment, disease monitoring and care provision.
